Aug 14, 2011 any enb I use drops my fps by at least half and I'm not sure why. This is completely normal. For example: in my pure vanilla game I get 140-170 fps. In my 650 mod game with ENBoost only it drops to about 60 fps. With my ENB preset of choice (Rampage) it drops to 40 or less. Some things you can do: Check this thread on optimizing your ENB. I deleted K ENB, it cause massive drops in Skyrim, Solstheim was good because no details such as Skyrim. I tried Season of Skyrim but even with the maximum performance option, I got arround 20-25 FPS instead of 60+ (i use vSync) wihtout in outdoor. Some tweaks that helped me get Skyrim to a stable condition while running an ENB. ENBoost: Social Media Links Twi. Skyrim enb fps drop. Considering I was able to run old Skyrim with around 140GB's of mods and a little bit above 100+ ESP's with ENB at decent avg. 45 FPS with my Setup. Another problem I had with Skyrim SE was: When looking at some places from certain angles my framerate would drop to 30 FPS from 60 FPS, move few steps forward; FPS would go up to 60, move few.
